Heads up! There’s more than one FICO® Score.
FICO scores guide most lending decisions, but did you know there are multiple versions tailored to different credit needs? The original base FICO® Score 8 (ranging 300–850) remains the most widely used.

FICO® Scores have been the go-to credit score for lenders for over two decades. But the credit landscape has changed a lot since then. Lenders have new requirements, data reporting has evolved, and consumers use credit differently.
To keep pace and ensure you get the credit you deserve, FICO® Scores have been updated regularly. For instance, we now use credit much more often. FICO® Scores have adapted to reflect this shift, so typical credit usage today isn’t penalized like it might have been in the past.
That’s why there are multiple FICO Score versions, in addition to the popular FICO Score 8.
